The End of a War.

In the end General Robert E Lee of the South surrendered to Ulysses Grant of the North. This marked the end of the war and a new begging for all slaves. They were set free and now had the freedom to do as they pleased. To me this is probably one of the greatest accomplishments we have done as Americans. We may have fought our brothers but it wasn't right what they were still doing to the blacks. We were unselfish and fought for the blacks not ourselves.
